Reporting to the APAC Strategy lead, the role brings together strategy, analysis and market intelligence to help leadership identify growth opportunities, pressure-test choices and track progress against regional priorities.
The role will serve as the team’s analytical engine: independently structuring analyses, synthesizing internal and external data, conducting desktop research, and producing decision-ready materials for APAC leadership. The role also supports high-priority regional initiatives across markets, brands, channels and consumer ecosystems, working cross-functionally from insight through recommendation and implementation support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Strategy & Priorities: Support APAC strategy refresh and priority setting by framing business questions, evaluating strategic choices and translating analysis into actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Analysis & Insights: Own hands-on quantitative analysis across internal business, consumer and market data; identify trends, drivers, opportunities and risks; and translate findings into clear commercial implications.
• Market & Competitive intelligence: Conduct desktop research on consumer trends, market dynamics, competitors, channels, cities and adjacent sectors. Synthesize multiple sources into concise insights leadership can use in decision-making.
• Analytical toolkit: Build repeatable models, benchmarks, market-sizing approaches and dashboards that improve the speed and quality of strategic decision-making; use AI and analytics tools to increase research and analysis productivity where appropriate.
• Business cases & Opportunity assessment: Support evaluation of new geographies, channels, brands, categories and business models through market sizing, financial and scenario analysis, competitor benchmarking and structured recommendation development.
• Performance & Strategy tracking: Develop fact bases and scorecards to monitor strategic priorities, surface emerging issues and help leadership focus attention on the highest-impact opportunities and actions.
• Executive communication: Convert complex analysis into concise presentations, briefing notes and narratives for regional leadership, business reviews, strategy discussions and other senior forums.
• Cross-functional projects: Partner with market and functional teams to define workplans, coordinate inputs and drive selected strategic initiatives from analysis through recommendation and implementation support.
• Share & Reapply: Capture learning from market pilots and external best practices, codify what works, and identify opportunities to adapt and scale relevant capabilities across APAC.
